| Guest chapter 12 . 11/29/2018 Definitely hard to read... as you managed to depict those horrible tragedies with so much (well deserved) respect and anyway with true (again, well deserved) "colors" ... Really touching Tony and Gibbs' struggles with such unfair deaths and all the implications of those (the danger Tony was in - twice! - the pain and the guilt and the relief and the unfair -but oh so human!- questions of "what could I have done better?" ...)... that a emotional roller-coaster for them and for me! bravo! |
| jcmac chapter 12 . 4/1/2018 This was a difficult story to read, because it was so real. But that is also what made it so powerful. It gave me a glimpse into how difficult it is for those who protect us, whether federal agents, police, emergency personnel, military etc. Blessedly, none of us will ever have to face such things, because of them. My thoughts are with them, with hope for strength and healing. Thank you, for a beautiful, insightful story. |

| Darth Becky 726 chapter 12 . 4/8/2017 All the mentions of Amazing Grace has me looking forward to newt Sunday; Easter. We'll be singing it in church with the amazing pipe organ. I'm Methodist. We'll probably sing it tomorrow, too. Palm Sunday, and all. I also had to open a YouTube and find piano and organ versions of the song. :) Loved all the emotion from Tony, and all the father/son moments we got from him and Gibbs!
