I was happy to see you updated! What a sad event Jack went through when he was a child. As much as Teague tried to keep him from experiencing something like that, it happen anyway. I felt Jack's panic during the auction, him seeing others being sold and not seeing William out in the crowd to come get him. I can't wait to read what Jack did to Ana to make her leave him. I hope we get some back ground on how their relationship started.

This is very good. I'm enjoying everything about it. Jack's back story of being a man of color and having to deal with his troubles of being able to live free, where some of his own people didn't get to have that. I'm also enjoying Jack and Ana's back story and how they got to know one another and how in the next chapters, how they fell in love... and don't forget their daughter Lily-Rose. You made her real cute and I can't wait to see when they all come together and become a family...hopefully.
