I like the interaction between the sisters at the beginning of the chapter.

T_T I knew this was going to be the sad half of the story but I read it anyway... She was so desperate to stop him joining the Death Eaters and he was too excited about joining to take her concern seriously...

AND THEN I GOT TO THE END AND I WAS LIKE: Wait, WHAT?! I was not expecting that at all!

[silently waited a reply] - You're missing a bit here. It should be either "awaited a reply" or "waited for a reply". I know I've told you this before, but the past tense of "blurt" is "blurted". Other than that, I didn't spot any typos or grammatical errors.

This was an interesting look at a relationship that might have been. Poor Rab seems to have a crush on her right from the beginning and it takes a long time for her to catch on...

Your version of Andromeda is pretty different from how i usually see her portrayed in fanfiction. Her extreme forgetfulness and liking to know the ends of stories first are things I've never seen attributed to her before.

I kind of don't want to read the second chapter because I know it's going to have a sad ending...

I know you said, you had othernovel length fics planned so you wouldn't turn this one into a novel, but what about a one shot a couple months or years later. This fic is awesome, dont get me wrong, but when you finish it, it feels like you've been left hanging in the air.
