This was really good and really different. Awesome job.

My my. Some dream. And during the scene of their intimacies, it switched from Draco's to Harry's POV without a line being there. But good stuff.

This was an interesting story…I've never really looked at the Roman religion, so it was fascinating in that way, if no other.

I love how you wrote this, like the way you used the festivals and such in it made it so real. And at some point I actually held my breath a little.

I would have loved a "number 2"! Maybe where Malfoy and Potter talk about the dream, or don't talk about it which is probably more realistic, and well.. Yeah, something like that. I'm just saying.

Dear, merciful heavens, that was INCREDIBLE! Stunning and beautiful too. You have made the Bacchanalia so seductive and powerful and otherworldly - so much more than beasts and earth and primal screams. LOVE so much how Harry and Draco both (well, mostly just Harry) kept theirselves intact throughout the experience, how we heard their voices and thoughts through the entirety. LOVE so much also how Harry fell back and forth between so called reality and in giving himself up to the present god. Also how Harry moved from the goal of being bound to the earth, to feel wanted for himself and therefore SEEN, and then to finally flying. Spectacular story.

So can I just say that in the confines of the dream world story, this was phenomenal. But it would be just as captivating as a stand alone AU ficlet. I really wonder...there seems like there could have been so much more to that world. There was almost a Merlin and Arthur feel to it, with Harry discovering his magic, his lineage, channeling Bacchus, and Draco and his own gens...wow. That was really very well crafted. I would love to see more in this world, but if that's all there will be, i'm still glad to have found it. Thanks so much for sharing it!

First of all, great writing, as always. I adore reading anything and everything you post.

Second, I'm not sure if you're aware, but Roman and Greek traditions supposedly upheld relationships between two men as something much more elated than a relationship between a man and a woman. It is believed that they considered a relationship between men to be much more spiritual, while a man and a woman were brought together only to reproduce. Or some such thing, I'm slightly fuzzy on the details.

This all changed as soon as Christianity arrived, of course, but during the time-period you set this in, I think it would have applied.
