I love Mag7 but don't usually read a lot of AUs but this one was well done, equally Scarlet Pimpernel and Mag7, more of a mashup than anything but well written, enjoyable, and believable. The language was spot on, it's what drew me in the most, I think. You left it in a good spot, all the Mag7 boys were great and close to their character canon but you really made me cry to read Chris missing Sarah. He's such a strong guy and as much as I enjoy a good H/C, especially with Chris because he *is* so strong, it always *really* hurts me to see him hurting so badly, emotionally. It was very well done. I really loved him in this and especially his long relationship with Percy, that was fabulous and shown to great depth. Thanks for sharing, Sue.

wow, i never thought to look up the scarlet pimperenel, it was my favourite book for a long time :) this is a long fic I see, but I shall make it all the way through! Ur a good writer, similar style 2 my own in places which is creepy... right, back 2 smoking cigaretes and reading... this fic may kill my lungs :)

It's well written, but didn't enjoy the tie in with The Scarlet Pimpernel, it doesn't fit the guys. You're a great writer, keep it up, just not in this AU

Wow! This was great! Unfortunately it's like the prelude to an AU, the guys didn't get to go on an adventure yet! I hope you're planning to send them on one, it's just not right to leave us like this, ESPECIALLY when you have Shovelin' plotting torture for the next guy he catches... ;)

I actually read this the first time on the M7 list and re-read it again here. This was terrific! I've been a fan of the Scarlet Pimpernel (in it's various incarnations) for years, so it was even more of a treat to find our boys in that universe. You got the mannerisms and such from the musical down quite well. I can still picture the "foppish bunch" prancing across the stage :-) Good job!
