I loved this piece because it is short but still captures the true characters :) You just nailed the way they always put off this thing while they both know that it is bound to happen. I enjoyed it enormously.

A beautiful story

This is one of the few pieces I've read where there's a non-undercover kiss between them when they're still in their relationships with other people. I like that they have this realisation, though I can't help but think Rick would always have held back after Meredith cheated on him? Nice analogies, and very well written indeed!

Excellent fic. Brilliantly captures the subtext of what is happening in S3, and what the dialogue would look like if it did indeed turn into text.
