Lorelai is a brat. I’m sorry. I mean, a lot of times I think she’s funny, but I also feel like she’s stuck in a very childish mindset. Everything has to go her way, or the highway. She treated her parents like crap. I’m sorry. Her parents were raised a certain way and obviously they projected that was onto their child. It’s not really their fault. Sure, they were a bit overbearing sometimes, but … hello. They’re parents. Lorelai makes WAY too big of a deal of her “crappy” childhood. Like, the episode where Emily is freaking out and she calls Lorelai and she says, “It’s a complete disaster!” And Lorelai says, “My existence?” Like … was that really necessary? She acts like her parents purposely set out to make her miserable and she’’s always trying to make it about that. She never agrees with her parents ways. I was so happy that episode when Richard called Lorelai and flipped out about her cancelling the date with Emily’s friends’ son. It was something important to Emily, and, even though Richard didn’t understand, he wanted Emily to be happy. Lorelai should have been a little more understanding, I don’t know. She’s just a self-centered brat. They was she treated all of her boyfriends, and everyone, really, like she could just bat her eyelashes and she’d get whatever she wanted … she’s almost as manipulative as Emily, if you think about it … there are reasons why Claire's better than Lorelei so far anyway, aren't they?

I’m sorry, but I DO NOT GET what this big deal about Rory was. Every guy seemed to fall right at her feet and she had absolutely no redeeming qualities. She rarely had any emotion on her face, she wasn’t funny, she didn’t DO anything. How the HELL did Dean fall for her when all she was doing was READING a book?! Unless she was reading while she was half naked, I don’t want to hear it. She’s so monotone, too. I just … I don’t understand. Plus she was SUCH A BRAT. When she slept with Dean and was like, “He was my boyfriend, first!” Yeah. He was your boyfriend. You snuck around behind his back with you secret friendship with Jess. You kissed Jess at Sookie’s wedding. You picked Jess over him, you got him to cheat on his wife, you bad-mouthed his wife. Grow the fuck UP, Rory. You aren’t in high school, Jesus. The way she treated her mom during the fight? Ridiculous. I just … I can’t stand her.
