I can't believe I missed this.

Excellent story!

I really like the way you've made the characters inhabit the world, instead of just passing through it, if that makes any sense. Vaan and Penelo being able to blend into the Giza nomads makes a lot of sense, even if I hadn't thought of it that way before. I always love a story that takes its setting into consideration and the fact that you used most of the world just made this fic stand out to me. It was a great read.

Oh, this story! I kind of want to clutch it to my chest and never let go.

aww.. I love this! Your descriptions are so fun, I can picture everything in my head! Especially seeing Balthier observing Vaan constantly, I really enjoyed reading his view of Vaan's emotions in regards to all the places they visit.

Oh! This was lovely!

The tense shifts were odd at first but it didn't take long to get used to them. And I adored the reflective time shifts, Balthier's observations on Vaan and his internal battle with his attraction and affection.
