This chapter is the clincher. It feels like we've drifted away from trying to have original character interactions and slipped into canon but with a different camera filter

I'm still questioning the whole first half of this season

I appreciate you giving us a perspective of airbenders where they aren’t perfect. Being pious and detached can definitely fuel feelings of entitlement and superiority. The way Zuko was treated was terrible but he has his found family, the Gaang to support him. I think it was so amazing how brilliant Zuko is in your story, he is able to fool airbenders from a young age.

I love this series so much. It’s very interesting and a completely different direction. I would be soooo into a post-series of where everyone went from here

Ok, this is amazing. You are amazing. Your writing is great, the plot was interesting, and you were able to incorporate the Zutara part completely seamlessly! Please tell me you had to learn how to write this well. If not, then there is no hope for us lowly mortals.

and Ursa goes batshit crazy this time. i'm really glad Azula avoided that fate this time, since i had actually started to pity her for a while.

i'm way too excited. quite a lot of awesome moments in this chapter, the best of which though is Zuko asserting his independence over his mother.

welp, final four chapters after this. plus Aang has to disappear for about a day to learn energybending.

NICE! Loved how Zuko told both his sisters off. Really they are pretty similar if we look at them - both had a parent of theirs hammer it in them that the element of that respective parent is superior to everything else. Ozai and Ursa are both extremely chauvinistic in nature.
