What an intense story! I was riveted by every chapter. You do the mirror universe justice, and I can't wait to see what happens as Kirk and mirror-Spock spend more time with each other. With Kirk plotting escape and Spock plotting Decker's demise and a way to tame Jim, it's bound to be a fascinating read. It's been a long while since you've updated, but I hope you find the inspiration to continue this story. It's too good to leave unfinished!

Please finish! I hate not knowing what is goingg to happen!

You know that the memory part was heartbreaking? Like really heartbreaking. If the "Closer Spock" had taken all that away from Kirk…oh my…it was already enough like it was. I mean, that’s all what you have at the end of the day – memories and they start to fade anyway sooner or later - less than having them taken away from you forcefully.

And I know that Spock really and truly cares for THIS HIS Kirk and he can’t accept to share him but that was really gruesome on his part. BUT! At least he stopped before it was too late and Kirk “gave in”.

Spock sure does have a weird way of showing how much he cares for Kirk, how much he wants him safe and protected. I love when you describe Spock’s tender side. Even if he shows it when Kirk is “asleep”.

And also when Kirk struggles to accept this Spock as maybe not his old Spock but as his new Spock – there is no way around, right?

So, please tell me a little about Decker! What does he want and how? Besides our favourite (former) Captain Kirk with the fire in his eyes.

I was over the moon too read that is “only” the end of Part I. I hope Part II is not only two chapters and then there is none more, because then you have A BIG PROBLEM, Milarca Mouse. But I trust you. It basically only has started, right?

PS I was quite relieved to hear that J.J. Abrahms has finally signed for the next Star Trek Prequel. Man, that took a while. For all I know the 2nd part should have been already done by now…As long as all are on board (note the genius wordplay) again, I can be patient. Apropos PATIENT…you know in which direction this will go, right?

Anyway, learning to be patient and waiting for a new chapter is still totally worth it and that you end almost every chapter with a cliffhanger or a supertease. Sigh. I still love & hate that.

SO, is there a time jump with the beginning of Chapter II? Don’t spoil me – maybe a little – you know me.

PS You should totally pitch Abrahms your "Wonderland". Who knows? A very free approach to the Star Trek Universe.

Excellent writing. With this chapter as with the others, I find at the end that I've been holding my breath through most of it. I like how you are writing the story from both Kirk's and Spock's points of view. Please, please, please - update more frequently.
