Lucifer is quite the confusing character in SPN as his motives are never entirely clear. I can't say this did much to clear up that situation. Thank you for posting.

Loved it. It is heart wrecking, sad...but yet beautiful. And so purely Sam. He'd do anything to keep the ones he loves save, even if he's sometimes misguided in his attempts. This screams Sam completely. And I love protective Lucifer in this, the caring one... beautiful piece.

This is awesome, I like how you made Lucifer because thats how he acted. I don't know but for some reason I don't see Lucifer torturing Sam in hell like Alistair did to Dean... he probably did it in a more passive aggressive way and I feel like you captured that in this. The way Sam stood up for Cas and how submissive he was; I love it! Thank you!

OMG. It's okay Castiel, I'm crying with you! *sobs* Oh /Sam/. /Cas/. Of course Sam would stay with Lucifer if it meant keeping Dean and Cas and Bobby safe. But, but... *sniffle* It's so sad.

That was as sweet as it was sad, Sebe. I daresay that it needs more. Maybe a quest to find an Oracle in Heaven-I think Cas should take Dean there (describing that part of Heaven would be quite the challenge) and find out if there's any way imaginable to save Sam. The price should be pretty high; not necessarily for Dean or Cass (or maybe so) but for certain areas or even certain people on the planet. Hmmmm... I think I'm a chapter or two shy of fninshing my story. If you can't take it up, then, may I?

This is really moving. Heartbreaking. The emotion you summon here is so tangible ... I got a little choked up, with Sam's sacrifice and Castiel's grief laid so raw. The writing here is truly elegant.
