I love this story so much, sometimes I forget this isn't how they resolved the big Eddie thing on the show.

Aw, so sweet

Right, first of all, you are my hero! "...wore happiness like a wolf wore sheepskin." That just about nails it completely! I've racked my brain trying to find a way to describe that aspect of Peter and you got it in such a simple and perfect phrase.

The whole thing was beautifully written, of course. I love the way you manage to make the characters so alive, so close to what we see on the show. Their manerisms, the way they talk, everything really, is just close to perfect.

I have to confess I was a little disappointed, though, that this turned out to be so AU. I'd have loved to see your take on what things might have progressed from where the show left off.

Anyway, the story itself, it's writting and flow are so good that I gladly overcame it ;)

If you look at my profile you'll see I've read a TON of P/O fics since the series started. There are 2 that really portray how really dysfunctional this couple is, and this is one of them.

A really well-written fic and I thank you again for sharing it with us.

You have the best character voices for these two. And this is so perfect. They're broken and just don't even know how to try, sometimes but they fumble around until somehow it sort of is like trying. And somehow they'll get it right in the end. Oh.

I really hope we get to this point again with these characters. Everything is so broken now. I very much enjoyed your telling of everything that's gone wrong. You portray so very well the ache of them wanting things to go back to how they were, but at the same time they know it can't. All they can do is move forward.

Oh. I've read this a long time ago on your LJ. But whatevs. It's awesome and worth re-reading.

Ohh I read this on your livejournal or whatever, and loved it so much. It's the perfect length. And I love that Peter seems perturbed by the fact that Olivia thought he used her for three years and that Olivia is using instances like that to hint at what's bugging her without actually admitting she's anything less than fine. It's so her. This is great. And I looked up the word Maculae just ten minutes ago but I forgot already. Maybe it had to do with yellowing of the corneas?

Yeah! It did!
