I love this idea of Damon as protector- lends a new destiny/out of their contol twist to the D/E relationship, and I love stories where they are drawn inexplicably towards eachother!

I really liked the premise of this story, the link between a doppelganger and her protector - very original! I am a bit confused by the absence of chapter 6, however. The story leaps from chapter 5 to chapter 7 and there certainly seem to be some absent plotpoints. I would love to read chapter 6 at some point (and the rest of the story when you get around to writing it!)

Will you continue this? I hope so, the premise is a strong one.

This is an amazing fic! I'd love to see you continue it, but I won't bitch because (wow) would that be the pot calling the kettle black! lol! I, myself, get started with fics and then my musie gets all excited about another idea and it's away she goes... ;)

But, this is very, very good. I'd love to see what happens next.

Can I just say I hate Rose. I've hated her on the show, and I truly rejoiced when she was killed off, I'm sorry, she cried too much and couldn't handle the lose of her precious Trevor, that she cried everytime she had 5 minutes on screen, or when she got a sun burn from the Elijah-induced accident.

The teen of Mystic Falls, lost so much, and they still stand to lose more, and yet the get up, dust themselves off, and move the hell on.

take note you 600 year old vampire bitch!

I loved that very emotional scene with Rose and Damon in the shower, as well as the other "smutty"-parts ;o)

Not sure what to think about Rose... my opinion changed whilst reading from minute to minute couldn't decide if I should be angry because she's not telling Damon about her findings or if I should feel with her for not wanting to loose Damon... *sigh*
