Never thought about Edmund's gift before. His gift was his life which Aslan gave back to him as well as his family and Narnia and kingship whcih he used to protect his family and Narnia. Typical it was Lucy that Edmund spoke to as well.

Great connection between Lu and Edmund and I think it was a really interesting intepretation of Edmund's 'gift'. I'd always felt it was a bit odd that he never got anything (even if he wasn't around) but the idea of his gift being forgiveness and life had never occured to me but its so true. Thank you.

I was a little disappointed that Edmund didn't get a gift from Father Christmas, but having Aslan die for you is the greatest gift and love of all.

and thank you for pointing out that Edmund received the greatest gift among his siblings. I thought it was a bit unfair that he didn't get a present from Father Christmas, but I figured it was because he was definitely on Santa's naughty list during that timeframe anyway and didn't deserve one.

i never thought of Aslan's sacrifice as Ed's Christmas present. such a wonderful and moving thought.

I really like this. I think that this shows real insight, not just into the stories but into deeper matters. It is really touching, although admittedly you did let your characters go a little OOC, but that just needs practice.
