This is so wonderfully and perfectly "them." I love the fact that Tony trusts Gibbs enough to know he doesn't have to hide behind his "Brilliant Chatterbox" mask with him and instead uses his silence to communicate just as Gibbs does. This brought memories of "Baltimore" to mind, when Gibbs and Tony were able to speak in glances despite having just met.

Your characterization of Tony in this story and others makes my heart happy, as you capture the myriad facets of his personality...especially the ones that he takes such great care to keep hidden.

The title for this one is perfection...

I absolutely loved the way Tony and Gibbs can have full conversations with just a glance or two. It truly speaks volumes of their friendship. And I loved how there's only two lines of actual dialogue in the whole story. This is definitely one I'll come back to for a good read. I can't wait to read more of your masterpieces.

Great story. Love the unspoken conversation. So much of how Gibbs & Tony communicate is unspoken- very nice telling.
