This is the best Ratatosk!EmilxMarta story I have ever read. Fantastic! I love how well-developed and canon the characters are :D Nice job! I would be delighted to see another one from you :)

Haa... It's been a long time since I read something that /wasn't/ a yaoi pairing, nice change of pace for me.

I enjoyed this, it's well-written and just wonderfully done! There's something sweet about it, and a little sad when you think about how it ultimately turns out for Ratatosk and Marta, though she does get Emil...

It's been a while since I've seen you work with these characters, and I felt like you did an excellent job with them. I do not know of many authors that treat the two aspects of Emil as separate characters-for some reason I don't think of them that way, especially towards the end of the game plot. Still, it seems like this was the ideal way to handle the characters and get the message that you wanted across to the readers.

The combat did seem somewhat light, but that was not the main focus of the story, and I felt like the scenes were quite adequate for what was going on. I like how you have Marta interact with Sheena so well-she does seem to be someone who Marta would consider a confidante, and what you've done here helps that notion immensely.
