well, i actually really like this story, except that... honestly, is it realistic for her to accidentally cause the deaths of so many of her pokemon? it's starting to become annoying. i get that you have the whole impulsive thing going on for her, but the third pokemon death was basically it already (and even then it felt as if this plot mechanism was too drawn-out). a fourth one was just completely unnecessary and ruined the way this story was going for me. i'm very sure her pokemon can't just forgive her incompetence again and again, given their personalities in this story. furthermore, if this death (and all the others) was dissected, it could also be perceived as unrealistic. even with the pidgeotto's injuries, it would have been able to take down the pikachu given the levels of the pokemon of the trainers around the area (and since rattatas are weak without a type advantage). all in all, this was the straw that broke the camel's back. i doubt i shall continue reading this if this unbelievable trend continues. however, i must praise your realistic writing style (which was, unfortunately, marred by the unrealistic plot) and the way you give leaf a unique personality steeped in real-world problems.

Great story - I was glued to it. Read it in one night, in fact. Your characterization of Leaf was absolutely masterful. Good use of alliteration and simile/metaphor as well. Favorited.

Sweet lord, woman, do you intend to kill me with this bitterweet ending stuff? This story actually had me shedding tears at every single loss. And the way you captured the emotions of a confused, angry teen was pretty good. She did learn from her mistakes eventually, but it was a long and hard process. I love it. It really describes how her mentality changes so gradually, and the best part is, this world is actually quite realistic. Pokemon do die, as the Tower showed, and Leaf's journey showed how that can affect someone. Honestly, this fic is great and deserves so much more attention.

This was an excellent story. Concise (Somewhat- compared to other fics) and to the point, you captured emotions and character well, even without giving the ability of speech to your pokemon. The characterisation was excellent and the writing superb in the later chapters- so thank you for writing this fic. It was a pleasant read, and I wish you luck in future stories.

I read your story long time ago but it's only now that I find time to send you a proper review. I fell in love with your story. It's amazing ! Really ! You made me love Pokemon I don't care normally. I lived with Leaf. I was sad with her. I was happy and relieved when her pokemons survived. I love Kashen. I know it can sound stupid but I really love how you make them seems real. They're not "it", they're "he" or "she". They feel, they live, they die. Like me, like you. ( I guess you're not a robot ). I can honestly say that this story is my favorite story here.
I'll watch after your others stories !
