I was beginning to lose hope that this would ever be finished, which would have been a damn shame. It was off to such a wonderful start, truly original and completely captivating. I was so excited when I saw this was updated! I truly hope that you dont lose the muse or the time for this. I'm excited to see how this pans out, I'm totally invested!

NOW I'm starting to actually like Caroline! I had a hard time swallowing the "Master's in Psychology" with everything else about her. But now it makes more sense...she's always been on the adge of sanity, and not just from the beatings and emotional trauma. Her greedy and eager sociopathic response to Man is very sexy, and shows her gleeful tumble over the edge of sanity and into violence and revenge. Ooooo...Johnny's gonna get it! Johnny's gonna get it!

Your description of Mac's eyes has to be the most beautiful and mesmerizing one I've read. It's a perfect description and beautifully set his character. Love the description of the kiss in the bathroom-dirty, steamy-all it should be. I love Caroline's last, defiant middle finger gesture to Man and Walter for not making any effort to save her.

I'm so glad you've revived this story! I was so disappointed that you never updated. Not sure I'm buying Caroline's justification of why she's staying with Johnny, but domestic violence is a complex issue.
