This is so, so beautiful. I absolutely adore the descriptions of the three girls: Katherine, like fire, Elena like moonshine, and Caroline like the sun. It's gorgeous. The whole piece has a beautiful poetic feel to it. The end was so painful, though! :( Still, such a wonderful pic. Great work!

Simple. But so true. You agd my attention from the moment you described the three girls and very accurately so.
I request you to write more threesome fics of them. Like debacles father three musketeers!;) but maybe some with the rest of the gang and maybe even the originals(who are also a group of bad ass vamps who'll stay alive and maybe together for almost ever).

oh, god I loved this story. I mean, the way you comparised Elena and Katherine and Caroline... Moonshine, Fire and Sunlight, so fitting, so true. I liked the way you wrapped the story, that bittersweet ending with, in my mind a different death for Gordon. Sue me, but a a vampire hunter who fancies himself a hero just screams Gordon to me, UASHAUHSUA, AND I rather liked the idea of Damon ripping his heart out. AUSHAU, anyway, GREAT job

Wow, this was well-written, sad, and intriguing.

I love the Stefan/Caroline/Damon triangle, so it was nice to see another story about it.

The ending was sad, but it's kind of fitting. Damon and Stefan seem to go through a lot of patterns. First, Katherine and then Elena, and finally Caroline.

I like how you made it seem like they needed each other even if the relationship couldn't replace their bond with Elena.

It was realistic and didn't completely write Elena out of the picture like some Caroline fics do.
