Wow...really well done! I applaud your ability to keep all the spoken words exclusively the song lyrics and nothing more. That must have been a pain in the ass, LOL. But you did well incorporating Kagome's inner monologue to fill in the gaps. Good job!

I don't necessarily agree with the portrayal of Kouga as the bad guy, though given he's the only wolf interested in Kagome, I can see why you went in that direction. Also, the idea of Sesshoumaru as a doctor gave me some pause, though after some thought, it made sense, with his sword being what it is.

I'd suggest adding a note at the beginning somewhere to let people know it's an AU, by the way. It took me a minute or two to adjust to the AU-ness, since I didn't expect it.
