Ooh, very nice, I'm glad those two hash things out - the Dexter/Quinn dynamic is really under-explored on the show

Ugh, I love this! The show just blew so many chances to make it better. Quinn knew Dexter killed Liddy and that was just forgotten. Your story is so much better!

I know it's been two years since you wrote this, but I just got into the Dexter fandom and wanted to let you know that I enjoyed your fic. IMO the writers have used Quinn poorly in the show, making him and his relationships far more boring than they could have been, and it is refreshing to see a conversation between him and Dexter which could have actually happened. I love that about this ficlet, and I wish this conversation had actually taken place. It would have been so much more meaningful than the brief "The blood work cleared you" we got at the end of season five while still staying true to both characters. Dexter doesn't spill his guts, but he also reveals plenty and eliminates a potential threat without deviating from Harry's code. Thank you. Hardly anyone writes Dexter fanfiction, sadly, but I'm glad you took the time to do this, because I think it's better than the actual canon.

Interesting, I like it! If that happened to Deb, Quinn wouldn't have a chance to help her. Dexter would kill anyone who even thought of hurting his sister.

I really liked it...really really liked it. It was feasible. Some of the ones where people find out Dexter is a killer it's so over the top. But this one was just enough of a revelation. As far as Quinn knows Dexter only killed the guys that hurt "Number 13". I think that was a much as a co-worker/cop could really handle.

For some unknown reason, I quite enjoy fics about people finding out that Dexter's a killer. And this one was great.
