Mr. Wizard chapter 1 . 1/5/2011 Great use of a phrase. Could really feel the cold outside and the warmth inside. |
Reader101w chapter 1 . 1/4/2011 Nice story, Indeed, like there was any doubt. Makes you wonder why Bonnie and Tara even agreed to the bet (maybe there was a timeframe included). keep up the good writing, reader101w |
Omnifighter1 chapter 1 . 12/29/2010 Very sweet, reminds me a little of the song, "Jesus take the wheel". But Monique and Brick? Seriously? And the way the story was starting, it sounded like Ron was dead, but him adopting Hanna and she seeing Kim as her mom was a nice touch. |
Joe Stoppinghem chapter 1 . 12/19/2010 Great story, enjoyed it all the way through. I did get a little confused over the "and she couldn't wait to break the news to her family, Steve Barkin and Edna Hatchett." I can see the possibility of setting up Steve and Edna, but the 'her family' has got me scratching my head. Again, thanks for the one shot. |
whitem chapter 1 . 12/19/2010 At first I actually thought Ron was gone-gone. As in, dead. But as I read on I figured out my fears were unfounded. That was so sad (to me anyway) when I read about Ron's parent's, and that was a nice touch using an older Rufus. I keep thinking of Hanna as a blood relative to Ron, and that there would be legal things going on with adoption, but I guess it would work by just amending the adoption records to show Ron and Kim as the adoptive parents now. And was that a new pairing I saw at the end? Barkin and Hatchett? That could be... interesting... Thanks much for entering this story, and Good Luck in the contest! |
AmericanGecko chapter 1 . 12/13/2010 Very nice little tale here. And it seems like it could easily be a plausible way for this to happen. Good luck on the contest. :) A.G. |
readerjunkie chapter 1 . 12/13/2010 Nice one shot. Can't wait to see what you and bear have planned out for stories. |
CajunBear73 chapter 1 . 12/13/2010 Nice little Christmas tale of catching what's important before it slips away. And loving them so much. CB73 Yep, can't wait to get that first few chapters ready. Booyah indeed! And Merry Christmas |
Rye-bread chapter 1 . 12/12/2010 1st review. Spankin’! Coolio! Bondigetty! A-Booyah! A cute holiday tale. And it portends a collaboration between you and CB. What’s not to groove over? |
