Love Sanek! Spock really did mess up instead of helping his family he simply sent them away! So happy Nyota has a forgiving heart! Delightful story loved it! Need more of Sanek!

Wow, what a wonderful story, Spock really had to learn a lesson here. Beautiful, intelligent writing and so unbearably sad. Very refreshing too, to see such an original, adult take on the 'crew turned to children' trope.

I loved Eshu-Elegbara, how he wasn't good or evil, and how you wove him into a sci-fi story.

This certainly supports the saying “Be careful what you wish for, you may get it.”! Spock and Nyota certainly had a hard time and came through it better than could be hoped. Now they are in for a another life together. Sanek must be very resilient to cope with this, but then he has a lot of love around him. I am impressed that you created such a challenging and unique story and saw it through to the end. Your vision of the characters was consistent and they faced their challenges and grew (or shark and grew *rolls eyes). You maintained both the pace and the interest, so my hat is off to you. Well done

This is certainly an unusual one, Tea. I have followed it steadily, perplexed a little at first, then delighted with the way Spock is learning about the consequences of the choices that he makes. I love the 'get what you ask for, but not what you thought you wanted" aspect of Eshu.

Oh my Goodness! I...don't have the words to describe how I feel about this outcome. Can you be happy and sad at the same time? At least Spock, Nyota and their son will not be separated. Wow, that was something!

So are both Spock and Uhura children? They can have a child bond and get married when they age?

I don't know if that's the end - but if it is, it's perfect.

I can't wait to see how Spock responds to her statement at the end of the chapter. She has a valid point.

she always apologizes, yet she has done nothing wrong, except hurt. will she age or remain the same or will this wear off in time? has he pushed her away so far, that she is afraid to feel again. i have so many questions, however, a good story does that... this is a really, really good story. an update soon please, i am curious to see what his response will be.
