JMackenzie chapter 21 . 3/14/2012 This story took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions, sorrow, anger, admiration, and ended with a hopeful conclusion. I have thoroughly enjoyed it! |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 21 . 12/29/2010 Good story, I can't believe it's ended :(. "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid also comes to mind for this last chapter. :) They have a ways to go, but at least they're on the right road. I know Sarah is supposed to come back when Barnabas admitted his feelings to Julia, yet I would have actually liked to have seen her come back in the story :). Need to say it again, good story. |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 20 . 12/28/2010 Poor Julia, so much to do with Philip's death :(. I wonder what the letter said. *cheers that Barnabas is on the mend* Unexpected positive out of Philip's jealousy...Barnabas can live with that :D. She's back? |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 19 . 12/27/2010 Wow, what an intense chapter, yet it was good. |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 18 . 12/27/2010 Got a bit burned by the fire, Philip? Good grief, Philip's really getting hounded in this chapter. |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 17 . 12/27/2010 Sad and sweet beginning. I knew she would have her true notes somewhere else. Philip is sure looking for trouble :). The classic "switch labels" routine, good one, Philip. Yikes! Cliffhanger! |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 16 . 12/26/2010 Philip's going to wish he hadn't stuck his nose in where it shouldn't belong. Figures Angelique was back, in one way or another. Not surprised that Philip wanted to talk to Barnabas first before he got Julia. Ha! Julia's too smart to leave her notes where someone can find them and read them. Either she is using some form of invisible ink or she keeps her real notes on her at all times or somewhere safer. :) I can't wait to read more. |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 15 . 12/26/2010 I think I can read Julia's thoughts, at least one about Barnabas caring/noticing things and not mentioning Angelique: "Is he really changing or is it due to the pain from reverting?" At least Philip admits he's jealous :). Yet, I do feel a bit sorry for him when Julia lets him down. Thought he's still up to something. |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 14 . 12/26/2010 Someone has been busy :). Philip is only telling himself what he wants to hear, considering at how surprised he was when he saw Barnabas. Oh, Barnabas, have you finally acknowledged what was deep inside all along and finally beginning to show the feelings you have for Julia? |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 13 . 12/25/2010 I want to tear up myself as Julia re-read that paragraph about Barnabas having instructed Willie in what to do if he reverts. :'( *Dun-dun-dun* Why doesn't Philip finding the answers himself surprise me. Must be the whole "jealous guy must find out why the woman he loves loves another man." :D |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 12 . 12/25/2010 Is he finally opening up to her? Serious "awww" factor at the end. :D |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 11 . 12/25/2010 Cold shoulder for you, Philip :). He deserves it, sort of. Philip, you are a jealous man. Why can't neither one of them realize that she belongs at Collinwood? Geez. Willie even misses her presence (who wouldn't on the Collinwood estate?). What a sweet way to end the chapter. |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 10 . 12/25/2010 Wow, four chapters. Nice Christmas present :). I'm not surprised of how angry Julia had gotten with Philip. Julia's still in love with Barnabas, yet Philip doesn't understand a thing about Barnabas. Ouch, bathrooms are certainly dangerous. Sounds like his vampirism is coming back, if he looked like he hungered for blood. Yet it seems like he may have some sort of auto-immune thing with his blood. |
MonkeesDoctorWho1987 chapter 9 . 12/24/2010 Who else can he go to? No one else would understand and would want to kill him. Can't wait to see what Julia has to say to Philip saying that they are soon to be engaged. Aww, Barnabas is beginning to realize how important she is to him :D. "He wondered how she could appear so comfortable at the Old House, or Collinwood, as if she belonged there." -*squeals* Barnabas, it's destiny showing you that she belongs at the Collinwood estate, at the Old House, with you! Barnabas muttering "...not to late..." Hmm, so many things that can be attributed to. Grr, I'll just have to wait :D. |
GrayRainbows chapter 2 . 12/24/2010 Ooh, a Julia story! I should check here more often. Thank you for writing this. I'm actually glad to see her away from Collinwood's, and Barnabas's influence, for a change. I've always been very interested and curious about the businesslike Julia we first met, in the 1967 episodes. I'm sure you have plans to bring B. into the proceedings, but I would also be quite happpy to learn more about Julia, without him. She deserves a little happiness...and a break! A break from the weirdness of Collinwood. |
