I know it has been years but I hope you continue this story at some point. It's a very novel concept with much potential.

I enjoy the start of this story I was always picked on when I was in school the smallest child in school the smallest boy and worse smaller than all the girls. all the way up to 5th grade. Even, with being held back 2 years 1st and 2nd grade. When I was in 5th grade I was older than all the others in 5th grade. by 2 yrs. Try being 13 years old and in 5th grade and still smaller than all the boys in 5th grade and being continually pick on. I cant wait to see your next chapter.

I really am enjoying this story. I think its unusual because you don't really see Millicent and Harry as friends. The one thing that bothered me (which I'm sure wasn't intentional) is the passive comment Millicent made about homeschoolers "She's gonna pull me out of school...and now I'll be homeschooled...and I won't be smart enough to go to Hogwarts and I'll be like Auntie Barker and never have a job."
For most of my life I've been ridiculed for being homeschooled. The judgement about homeschoolers is that we are socially backwards as well as uneducated. The truth is completely different. Anyone who bothers to do the research can find ample evidence that homeschoolers do better in college than publicly schooled children and have better high school graduation rates. I myself am in the top three percent at my college with my grades and qualify for multiple scholarships.
Another misconception is that we are socially backwards. In some cases this can be true but then again so can children who go to public school. The difference is that over all (this is from another study) Home schooled children are actually more socialized because we don't confine our friends to a certain age group unlike the average public schooled child. This in turn opens us up to the world and allows us to better interact with everyone.
I don't mean to be preachy but I would be careful, even if it wasn't intentional, what sort of stereotypes you use. Homeschoolers being failures/stupid is just as bad a stereo type as the one that "all black people are drug dealers" and just as prejudiced. If you want to find out more about the studies that prove this just look it up on google scholar or look up Dr. Michael F. Cogan on google and it should pull up his research.

Proper procedures ah? And what about Sirius? Manipulator old coot. And the Aurors don't take the children to San Mungo?dumbl could care less, but are all the wizards blind?

Dumbledore is such an arrogant arse. No medical attention (from a professional) for the little kids who are assaulted and tortured, never mind his refusal to accept the painfully obvious about the Dursleys. And the aurors don't even get a chance to talk to Millie or Harry without DD intervening. Ugh! Can't stand the guy!
