That just made me ridiculously happy..now I will go to bed and dream of Roxanne..no seriously. Last night I drempt that Megamind was Jafar, and he fell in love with an elf. It was weird.

This is completely adorable!. Tugs at my heart in all the right ways. I like the explanation you gave for how Minion originally didn't like the idea of Megamind being with Roxanne but how it's grown on him and he's ready to let go. Minion's going to be suffering from a bit of empty-nest syndrome in the future, I think...

I also really enjoyed the imagery you wrote in here, particularly the mental image I got of Megamind curled in on himself thinking all those worried and depressing thoughts on the stairs of the office building. And the whole apologies sequence, aside from being tear-jerkingly sweet ("No...it's just...my eye...leaking" HA!) is a nice throwback to the scene in the actual movie where they're entering the old school house and Roxanne tells him that there's an apology in order and it goes completely over Megs's head. He matures a lot in a very short time and I love it.

And of course, a celebratory dinner at the Lair of Undecided Alignment is a perfect way to end the night. XD Love it!

This is a great story. I love how you describe Megamind's inner thoughts and the way they were acting towards eachother when they finally had a chance to talk alone. The romance was top-notch! :)
