That was pretty good. Especially for a one day story.I was a little iffy how you wrote River saying "fuck" though. I felt that it was a little out of character for her. But upon rereading,I understand that it fits perfectly into how she would need to talk to luck on your next one.

You've gone and taken one of the most brilliant flanvids ever crafted for the 'Verse and wrapped a hilarious tale of drunkenness and pissing contests gone wrong around an admittedly blue song...and it works so well! Even if you had to get Mal involved to make the lyrics work - cuz even when sozzled, there's no way Simon would make cracks about paedophilia (he's a trauma surgeon, so he's bound to have heard or seen some mighty questionable stuff in his time) - the whole story just reeks of awesomeness!
