I have a friend that buys her gifts for next year the day after Christmas... makes me sick... but each year... her shopping is done!

My dad used to do that with us... after church on Christmas Eve, it was always the drive around town to see all the lit up houses. I am with Adam... plain white is boring... but I too love just the blue... it is really pretty in the snow. Of course back when I was little there were no LED'S or lights that danced with music, or blow up decorations... but still... the lights and garlands were beautiful.

Always the way it was for my dad too... all that time, and when did he decorate... on the coldest day of the year. I loved helping him though.

We were known for this ply wood snow family that dad put out every year... they were older than I was... so by now, they are probably sixty years old. Well, since my parents moved and he passed, they are stored away in my sisters garage and will probably never be seen again... but ah the memories. They were even more special because dad made them from a pattern he got in a magazine all those years ago.

This brought back a lot of special memories for me... THANK YOU for that sweetie... I am feeling all warm and cozy inside now!

And it was sweet to see Heath taking care of Jay for a change... I only hope Adam did the same for Jeffy... but somehow I doubt it lol...
