And after just watching Tangle: Before Ever After, I was so impressed with how close this was to Disney's interpretation of Rapunzel's first few weeks and how well you know the characters (Rapunzel going barefoot to the ball, etc.). And I LOVE your writing style. Your description in the line, "Finally, Eugene took one of his hands of mine and slipped it to where my jaw and neck met, gently urging me to look back at him." Your depictions of Eugene getting jealous and protective are beautiful, exciting, and funny. And the end, when Eugene's "growled in a strange husky voice" is delightful. Very well done. :D |
