Until I'd read this story, I was no fan of the combination of
Shepard and Miranda. But you've made a believer out of me with this fantastic piece of fanfiction!
Now I can hardly wait to play Mass Effect again with Miranda as the LI.

Thi was probably one of of the best Shepard/Miranda fics I've ever read. The sincerity of her every word and thought was all too real. The way she stood up to her father, debating with herself on how and what to say was so admirable. John's protectiveness of Ori really hit close to home. An the way you wrote everything. Just wow! I love the fact that you never deliberately said she was pregnant. Too many writers on here do that an it's so cliche. Your use of hints and foreshadowing was remarkable. I feel like your version of the Reaper War here was remarkable. And I love just how clearly you portrayed Miranda's love for Shepard, and how she no longer was inclined to see herself as the tool her father created. Excellent work!

Brilliant absolutely brilliant. You may want to consider a sequel but I think if this is all you do it will be enough for me. Why could biowear and ea not do this exact ending. They need to take a page out of your book because this is one of the best fanfic I have ever read you sir have wrote something utterly amazing

Such a great story, by far the most emotional one I've read yet. It was nice to see a side of Miranda that isn't often explored, and being a relatively new parent myself, it hit a very happy note for me. Excellent work.

By far one of the best mass effect stories done; very different to all the others and full of sentiment and depth. Bravo!

A nice one-shot, starts off slightly angry but becomes quite hopeful by the end with a bit of sadness in-between, all in all very well written. I especially liked the bit at the end where she asks EDI to call her Mrs Shepard, very sweet and oddly enough quite in keeping with Miranda's character.

I'm a big Shepard/Miranda fan so I've read various fanfics on them, but this fic is now one of my favorites. You managed to keep Miranda perfectly in-character but still conveyed how much she loved Shepard and his positive influence on her. Some fics I've read make her too lovey-dovey which really doesn't match her.

I also love the sense of finality you give both Miranda and the entire galaxy. In the game I was actually kinda disappointed that after her loyalty mission her father wasn't mentioned again. Her hesitance and problems about writing the message makes perfect sense.

Her asking EDI to call her Mrs. Shepard was really cute and a good way to end it. Good work, hope to read more from you. :)
