Thank you. I don't get people who say Merlin should have been knighted. Merlin just doesn't have the knight mentality. He'd hate it. All those training sessions, and worse, the tournaments! He'd be miserable.

Merlin would never want to be a knight! A knight has duties that can take them away from Arthur's side, perhaps when his protector is most needed! Merlin would never leave Arthur's side except under the most sever circumstances like when he lost his magic & had to go to the Crystal Cave to retrieve it!
