You know, thinking about it now, EVERYONE has a Serenity, Anasara, and Sarazuka in them... except in some cases, one may be more distinct than the other.
I have exes like these... and honestly it scared the living daylights out of me. :/ lol
But I enjoyed reading the introduction and familiarizing myself as to who these 3 personas are. It's a twist seeing the perspective from someone who was always considered a 'small role' in the series.

so glad i decided to look at what stories you've written, and then the reviews. GONNA READ ON NOW!

I think I died a little inside...not because it wasn't good (because it really was) but because it was so sad! Brava!

Damn...this was definitely a side (or should I say "sides") to Serenity that we never knew. It seems to me that you've done your research on DID, or Dissociate Identity Disorder, as it's commonly referred to nowadays. You really captured the basics of how the personality of a person would split, with the innocent child, the free-spirited one, and the realistic, down-to-earth yet still vivacious one. I really liked this.

Chapter 5 here was probably my favorite. I could easily imagine Serenity sitting somewhere, flipping through page after page after page of her journal, all from the way the entries seemed to blur together in this chapter. This was definitely much faster paced, and I think it worked very well.

Apologies for not reviewing your other work yet. I'm not yet familiar with Generator Rex. Must do research. :)

Seriously. The ending is one of those that is so amazing, yet so very, very unsatisfying. -twitch-

Initially I did not expect such an ending; I truly thought the doctor, Kaiba and Duke could have talked some sense into her and give her a bit of hope that she could overcome this, but then I read the pills and the wine and I knew she had reached her breaking point. How she justified though, her last act being one that she alone controlled, was beautiful in a sick and twisted way lol.

The guys took it a lot better than I thought they might have, which was plausible considering who the men she was involved with and their naturally composed natures. I felt bad that she slammed the door in Kaiba's face though, but overall I felt for Serenity the most having to deal with the dramas that her other two personalities brought to her. I didn't think Anasara could have been filled with such spite for Serenity though, but then Serenity did say she hated them and what they did to her, it's somewhat understandable. Still, I do think they took their games a little too far, especially Sarazuka knowing what happened between Anasara and a man :(

I realized there was a mistake in your diagnosis of her condition though...yeah took me 5 chapters long enough to finally point it out, but I got too excited with the plot it didn't hit me until this chapter. She's not schizophrenic, she's suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder. Schizophrenics are often delusional and tend to dissociate from reality, sometimes even creating people or entities to fulfill that reality, whereas those suffering from DII create multiple distinct personalities that interact within their environment differently.

Overall, the plot was excellent from beginning to end, and despite having a tragic ending it was beautifully scripted that even death sounded poetic :D Great job with this story, I hope to read more from you on this site!

Okay now that I've gotten over my initial morning grogginess and jumped straight into schizo Serenity's goodness, let the review begin! :D

OHMYGOSH! OHMYGOSH! OHMYGOSH! And need I say it...OHMYGOSH! *fangirl scream to the top of my lungs* DUUUUUUUUUUUKKKKKEEEEE! I'm so happy you chose him as Serenity's love interest, because it does make sense that of all the guys in the YGO universe she'd connect well with him, despite his "flashy nature" contradicting with her gentler side. Of course as the say goes, opposites attract right? ;)

I still can't believe she hasn't read what happened between Anasara and Sarazuka as yet, but I'm guessing after her night with Duke with all the pleasure and none of the pain, she could make quite the guess as to what either one of them might have done or gotten her into. But wow, I also loved how you had her being Duke's first as well; just goes to show you that not all cool guys are whores xD!

And finally...OHMUHGORM...KAIBA...OHMUHGORM...K.A.I.B.A... AT HER DOOR...OHMUHGORMMMMMMMMM! What is she going to say about his presence, especially if he comes charging head first with his tongue down her throat xD! And what will DUKE do when he sees the scene, especially since she hasn't gotten a chance to tell him about her condition and she herself has no idea what's happening. Will Anasara come in to save the day, or even Sarazuka? Oh so many questions, but only you have the answers x3

Truly, I am most excited about where you are taking this fic and I simply CANNOT wait to read more! Keep 'em coming girl, this is AWESOME!

Oh my...like, oh my...o.O What on earth is Serenity going to say when she reads that she's had sex with two different men, one who happens to be her brother's archenemy, the other her freaking doctor? xD!

At first you could sense a certain closeness between doctor and patient, yet there was a line drawn evidently due to professional reasons (reminded me of another YGO story, will mention it after). Well boy did that line ever get crossed! I got utter chills when he told her to call him by his name, Aran (which is a totally hot name btw!), but I was surprised he wasn't concerned when he realized he wasn't her first. Then again, Sarazuka is the wild one, so anything was possible ;)

Their love-making scene was almost as passionate as Anasara's own, but the two men handled each aspect of this one woman differently. I would have expected Sarazuka to be the bold one to claim the doctor with her mouth etc (refer to Anasara's raunchy encounter with Seto xD) but it just comes to show you when all is said and done and the lights come off, people show their true colours in one of the most acts ever.

I'm eager to read the next chapter and see what happens when (rather, if) Serenity encounters the doctor after reading what Sarazuka documents in her journal, and also how is she going to deal with the fact that two sides of her are in love with two different men? Oh this gets complicated and delicious, and I really wanna know Aran's diagnosis for such a dilemma! :D

Great story once again, can't WAIT to read more from it!

Oh as for the other YGO fic this chapter reminded me of, it's called "Mr. Hyde is secretly a Matchmaker" written by Doubleplusgoodduckspeaker, one of my fav authors and reviewers on the site. The pairing is Serenity and Marik/Malik (written for a YGO contest) and it was simply amazing! If just for a good read, you can check it out, but don't worry about originality conflicts because you both had different ideas about how the respect doctor/schizo-patient relationship would unfold _

I await patiently (yeah right, I'm buzzing out of my seat with excitement xD) for chapter 4 and more! :D

OH MY FREAKING GOD AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

First off, let me tell you that it is 2.46 in the freaking morning and I could care less that I pushed my books aside in favour of reading this fic! WOW! Just...WOW!

Okay, review time _

Anasara...gotta love that personality! Her realism and logistical approach to life is something I just love in female characters, and something that seems to suit Serenity despite it being contrary to the good-natured and cheery persona originally written for her. But hey, she's schizo in this story, so anything goes _

I love how it started off with her meeting Seto in the grocery that she/they worked at, how she surprised him with her newfound approach to life (LOVE the "anal rape" line and the way she kept throwing darts at Kaiba's ego...gotta love Anasara for that!), and their first kiss on the bonnet was amazing! Everything that succeeded that point was sheer brilliance, full of ecstasy and passion that the reader can more than identify with even if it only ever happens in their fangirl BOY WAS IT STEAMY! Like, "I'm so glad tonight is a cold night and I'm weird enough to still sleep with a fan that kept me quite cool after heating up reading that scene" kind of moment xD! I have also officially adopted the word "zenith" into my vocabulary, so thank you for the silent English lesson in the process.

Overall, I am in love with this chapter, with this story! I loved the last line "take me again"...gosh what I wouldn't do to be in Anasara's position with Seto...ALL her positions *wink wink* xD! Great, EXCELLENT story thus far, keep up the amazing writing as always, oh how I WISH there was more after chapter 3 to read! You have me hooked like a fish "

Ooh! This is even better than the teaser I got! I can't wait to read what her diary has about each personality and their respective interactions with others . It's simply brewing with potential, and as creepy as this might sound I am loving the dark undertones of this story; it's very fresh, esp when your main character is Serenity!
