Okay, I cannot believe this is unfinished! Or was that really the end? You are flat out amazing - I hope you still write for SVU because I think regardless of the direction the show has taken now and Meloni's absence - El and Liv are the most profound TV partnership of all time. I am a huge fan of straight forward DRAMA and SVU is IT, but they are doing a tremendous disservice by not REALLY allowing Liv to grow in her personal storyline because Mariska is just kick-ass in the role and if they had someone with your talent and your TAKE on the show/characters ... no other actress would win the best drama Emmy. It's about the material and they haven't REALLY given it to her in YEARS. And I absolutely hate that Meloni is gone. But Pino is a very good actor and they could develop that relationship/partnership (and, of course Ice is great, Belz, Cap and Giddish is no slouch either - they could just go SO MUCH farther with character development but I'm pretty sure that's all Wolfe and his very limited "formula". I honestly don't think he has a clue re: the amount of TALENT he's wasting by insisting on "formula" and not going deeper. I've tried most of the other dramas on network television and most are simply too "light"for me ... I'll turn on a sit-com if I want comedy ... straight-forward drama is almost a forgotten art. There are SOME cable shows that achieve it ... but no where have I found the chemistry of Hargitay and Meloni. ANYWAY, thank you for sharing your stories here and PLEASE keep writing SVU. I especially love stories set back several seasons - during the show's "golden years" - probably '04/'05 to early '10. The season(s) where El was separated from Kathy were phenomenal. Anyway, rambling on ... you are an amazing writer - please PM me if you are open to story suggestions and/or STILL write SVUfic. If you do not write for a living it's a crime. :)

Wow, that's a great story. By far the best I read for L&O SVU because it is not all about 'I love you' and 'I love you too' but so much more true the characters. And Kathy is not just a terrible person. That's really a relieve. Thank you so very much for this great story.
