Okay, so everyone now hates Booth because Brennan is leaving. Yes, he's been a jerk, but she's the one running. She could just stop going on cases, or request a new partner. Or if she needs to leave the Jeffersonian she can get another job near by so she doesn't have to give up her life, friends, and family. The DC area is full of world reknown universities and museums. She could go on digs based out of DC.

Well, you've got me hooked!

I liked the plot, looking forward to the next chapters, it is the beginning of reconstructing her life and getting away from the painful presence of Hannah having what could have been hers. this may not be ideal but definitely better than having it rubbed in your face every day. Thanks!

Good chapter I think you have the dynamics down pretty well.

I'd tell Booth to let her go. He waits five years for his chance, making a lot of gaffes along the way but still putting himself out there, she shoots him down and runs away and doesn't contact him.

Then she sees another woman happy with him and her actions are to blow off her job and lie about it, lie about leaving and try to take off without telling him. I suppose she'd leave any of his possessions in a box at the lab, maybe even with a note. (as it's presented so far).

When she rejected him, she still wanted him to work with her, no return courtesy extended.

Let her go Booth, she was never yours to begin with.

I like the story, but I can't really sympathize at all with Brennan in it.

I agree with this 100 percent... I've seen those split-second expressions on Bones's face during this season's episodes, always to do with Booth and Hannah. So painful to watch!

"Booth was left there, dejected and completely confused. Something was wrong with his partner, obviously. But her best friend had clearly stonewalled him. And then there was a case to investigate. And he had dinner plans. So, with a resigned shake of his head, he ventured back into the lab to collect the intern." You have completed captured the season 6 Booth.

Creative plot and well written. I am glad that Bones has let lost of the pain. Hopefully the shock will wake up Booth and we can finally have Booth and Bones together at last.
