Long time since you wrote this, but I hope you went to New Years. It's a good day for lovers and I like to read about Caskett celebrating the New Year! As for this chapter, I liked it! Jim's talk got her to think about it. Let her know that it was important to Kate. And she sees the joy that Kate has brought her father. I think you did good! I would have loved to know what was going on in the kitchen though! I hope there was some kissing going on!

This was a good chapter, for me anyway! Just like Kate has the need to help the families of the murder victims, she feels the need to help anyone she can! In this case, Alexis is someone that she truly cares about! She has a good relationship with the teen and if nothing else, there is mutual respect. I think it is much more than that. And I think that Kate is falling in love with her father.

I have read about lot of Caskett kisses on this site, but I will vote this one as the one that grabbed me the hardest! Terrific!
