Great story! I really think Cuddy would/should have reacted to House's apology exactly as you have it written - she would know he was totally full of BS but would have appreciated the gesture nonetheless.

More seriously. This story is WAYYY more realistic than the show. And we all know it. Because seriously, how could House & Cuddy stay away from each other without any physical contact for weeks? Thanks for restoring the truth, Maya. What would we do without you?

I'm serious. So much frustration and tension between them in the latests epiodes of the show (as if we didn't have 6 seasons of tension behind us! really), it was becoming unbearable. I haven't been able to sleep IN WEEKS. Thanks to you and your AMAZING story, my mind can rest peacefully now.

Oh and one more thing: I really liked the idea of Cuddy's previous marriage. I suppose it was risky to imagine it, which made it even more...interesting. I felt it really was in character. :)

I loved how you wrote this! It's nice how she understood his predicament. How she understood why he had to lie to her just to settle their dispute once and for all. :) Btw, I wasn't even affected by the Andy part. You handled and made up that part well. :D It'd be very interesting to know a bit more about Cuddy's ex-husband, don't you think? xD

Have I mentioned that schtup-fest was HOT? I haven't? Well, damn woman, that was HOT! ;D

It was sweet and romantic how he let her know that she was the one thing he couldn't live without. That was a big thing for him- admitting how important people are in his life. It was nice how you included it :D

To sum it all up, I loved the feelings & emotions, the playfulness & banter & teasing, and the smut was amazing!

Thank your friend for the brilliant idea and for making you write it. Fantastic as always. Love how House let her see that he had missed her both physically and emotionally. The idea of Cuddy having mother issues is interesting, particularly bearing in mind her mother makes an appearance in the next episode. Pity we now have such a long time to wait - until mid January! We will all be in serious House/HL withdrawal by then!
