Yeah that's pretty much my only criticism. I absolutely loved it up until that ending part. I understand you wanted it to be a Lily/James fic, but it might have been better if you had left them as just friends, laughing it up at McLaggen's expense. That way it still would have been L/J without making her seem weird for switching from heartbroken to in love in less than an hour. But anyways, it was still good. Good luck with future writing :)

WELL, I do like it VERY much, even though it was a bit quick to get over a bad relationship and fall into a good one. But, I thought of it more as, she never really felt anything for McLaggen and realized she liked James when he was comforting her.
