I don't see very many fics from Prim's POV, so this was really cool to read. And terribly heartbreaking, of course.

oh my god. thisa is beautiful.

" you wished, for a brief second, that you were Katniss. But then you think about every single thing she's went through, how many people she's lost...and you're sort of glad that you're you." i really like this line. very true to prim i think.

"She looks a lot like you. Or at least, a lot how you used to look. Her bright blue eyes still held the naivete yours lost when your sister went into the Games. She hasn't realized that she was just a puppet in the Capitol's cruel games; that she was apart of the circus as the contenders watched, stuffed with bread and drunk with wine." this is perfect. so well written, i love the thing about the circus. Prim grew up a lot since katniss's game, and this line shows that flawlessly.

and the ending is just...wow. i love when she feels like she's been in the situation before and i just love everything. fantastic story.

I liked it - especially how "You've felt like you've been in this moment before, but you can't quite put your finger on it", which makes me think that Prim is making a connection to when she was reaped, like Katniss did (I think... at least, that's what I remember) at that same moment. The 2nd person was a creative touch.

Maya, I think my heart just broke into a million pieces.

Please, please write more HG oneshots/drabbles, this was perfect
