Loved seeing Malcolm. Harry and Ruth were great and liked that Harry was dressed so casual. I could picture it exactly.

I've only just found this story. Great twist. I was fooled by it, believing she'd been sitting outside Harry's house. Nicely done - very succinct.

Sorry, I thought I'd reviewed this but it seems I haven't.

Anyway, I loved it. Like the twist at the beginning. I thought it was Harry's door she was knocking on, too. The little scene with Dimitri and Beth is great - those two have potential to be something of a double act and provide a little light relief. That works really well here. And dear, sweet Malcolm - very believable that both Ruth and Harry would turn to him.

And who could resist tousled, rumpled Harry... ;)

Must admit I was bracing myself with tissues what with the title and the genre, but I loved the twists! D

Love this! Great characterisation. The idea of Ruth sitting in her car in tears was moving. I liked the little bait-and-switch, too. Love the idea that they both turn to Malcolm in their hours of need. I do so hope he makes a reappearance for S10.

Sorry for not reviewing on 'the biggie' - I started reading and then decided to wait until it was finished. Looking forward to reading it all in one go!

You totally got me in the first part - I had to go back and think, "It's Malcolm?" And it made me love this even more! And if that didn't get me, the "But I would rather like to work with Ruth Pearce" line definitely did. I couldn't think for a few moments, I was so happy! :) Utterly fantastic!

I love the twist of it being Malcom that Ruth visited and how Harry ended up there as well :)
