I wonder what exactly is the event that made Luigi more cowardly... The Mr. L incident in the first place, perhaps? But that doesn't seem right...

Damn... this is really good. The vast majority of Mario fanfics seem to be written by twelve-year-olds (not that there's anything wrong with that; they just aren't good writers). This was thus a rare treat.

So I take it that being turned into Mr. L is what made Luigi a coward? About that... he was cowardly in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, which presumably takes place before Super Paper Mario. I just wanna see if I'm right about this.

I love the floral language that 'Mr. L' is using, it is very much in character. I can also see how this is going to get very tense later on so that it starts becoming a mature story (and Mario of course, will remember who Mr. L was, hopefully...). Brilliant reading!

This makes me feel even more sorry for Luigi in the way you have described his feelings and thoughts over the prank. Very involving and rather creepy so it's an excellent start for you!
