| suzi1811 chapter 16 . 5/3/2014 I loved this one shot, it was so sweet and just how I'd imagine Derek responding to news of Santa Claus! I can see a little Derek sitting thinking it all through and finding holes in the whole santa story! I loved his fascination with the Christmas tree lights though, that was so sweet! I loved his genuine surprise and happiness at getting presents too! I was thinking maybe you could cover Fathers Day with Derek and Simon trying to do something nice for Kit on Fathers Day, also maybe Derek's first Parent teacher meeting or Career day (maybe Kit could go in and talk about being a lawyer to Derek and Simons class), don't think they've been covered by anyone? Maybe even his first day of school or first time learning to swim or ride a bike? Maybe Derek's first birthday or first time going to a party, playdate, picnic or sleepover? Hope one or more of those ideas help! |
