Wow I really loved your story. And the title says it all. This was a very realistic rekindling of relationship you potrayed. Sasuke's denial and then acceptance. Though he understood Itachi's actions he didn't necessarily forget anything. Forgiveness will take much longer. But I guess seeing his only family in such a pitifuland helpless condition (once in a blue moon event) with tubes, wires and monitors, I guess he didn't want anything like that to happen again.

However, Sasuke seemed to take Konoha's action in his stride, maybe Itachi was back or he didn't spend much time with Oro, so he was not too far gone in his mind. The line that Kakashi said to Itachi about duty and being strong was very nice *feels*. The adoption was an unexpected but pleasant twist. I really loved the ending.

The pairings were nice, KakaAnko is one of my favorite pairings, and Yugao and Itachi, very much crack but very much awesome. I really don't picture Itachi with anyone except Hinata or Shisui. But this was nice. Glad you also don't like ItaSaku. The Naruto angst was a nice touch, as was Iruka, ever pleasant one to read. Though Kushina's description was a little off. I hope Jiraiya tells him the truth. He sure does desrves it.
I really loved the pace of the story, and it's feel. Which however weird it may sound, was very peaceful, calm, serene, you take your pic.

All in all a very pleasurable read.

What the hell...why's Ino even apologising. Sakura was the one who ditched her first friend because of a boy who barely even knew they existed at the time. Sorry about the rant but so seriously sick of seeing Ino being the one apologise as if it were her fault. Guess it makes sense though, since I can't really see Sakura apologising.

I am just wondering why Sasuke Uchiha became the bad guy. Seriously, is everyone so freaking blind!?

For one, Sasuke is only seeking to get stronger (what many naive fools just sums up as power hungry) because it would help him reach his go (Avenging his family). He became 'power hungry' only because he thinks he won't reach his goal with what the village has to offer (which itachi had made sure he understood in his little visit).

Yes, his leaving caused more damaged then anyone could guess, but that was Konoha's fault. Rookie nine are obviously still rookies. But Sasuke didn't personally beat them down, did he!? Nope! But how convient it is that everyone seemed to have forgotten that little fact.

The only reason many call him a 'selfish bastard' is because he managed to hurt Narutos (and Sakura) precious feelings. That. Is. It. Then everyone ignore the fact that he had stated that was his goal from the Very. Fucking. Begining. Told them all, that he wanted to kill his brother. And what did they do? Pretty much ignored it, until he left, then they were like; 'no, don't go! Were friends! Oh, i didn't tell you? My bad, but we are! Why you doing this again? Revenge!? That is selfish! Bad sasuke! I am you precious person! Oh, you didn'y know!? Well i am, and so is sakura, kakahi, iruka, etc.'

And everyone is still shocked and angry when he leaves...when they have no right, as it is later revealed Konoha had made Itachi murder his own family to save there hides. Oh yeah, Sasuke Uchiha is the real villian, only, no. No he bloody isn't. He is just doing what he feels he Needs to do. He made it NO secrect, told them ALL to move on and forget him, and he is still blamed (rather passionately) about hurting some nodys feelings. Seriously!? Learn how to read between the freaking lines!

I loved this. It was awesome. You know, you wrangled the 'Itachi comes back and Sasuke accepts this' bit very successfully (especially if you consider their pasts) and there wasn't any part at which I felt any character was being OOC. XD

Jiraiya, not Jaraiya. Just to let you know. Sorry; I know this isn't a proper review - I'll review when I get to the end of the story - but I thought you'd want to know. I made the same mistake when I started writing online.

U remind me of why I read fanfics so much. As much as I can create a river of tears because Itachi died in the series(I think of him as my aniki, so it hurt me a lot), when I can somewhat recollect myself after drying my eyes, I want to see, imagine a better ending for everyone. And you did just that.
