Reviews for Afterwards
redrose1319 chapter 18 . 8/3
This is a lovely story. I wish you would finish it.
Thanks for writing it.
Mella Potter chapter 18 . 5/29
Your writing really made me feel. Thank you for an honest and moving account of grief, and for such a sweet love story. I hope you are well wherever you are and whatever you're up to.
ChrysalisBluem chapter 18 . 3/20/2019
Good dayI just finished reading "Afterwards" and I can't help but feel slightly empty after reading the last published chapter.
oh! Not because the story itself is bad. But after reading all the hurt/comfort and angst and just about things were finally going good again, you left...

Hence the emptiness hyet longing I feel to know if this story will ever see its end. Seeing how long it's been since you laat updated, I can only assume things on how you've been these passed few year.

Not going to lie to you, this is one of the best GeorgeHermione story I have ever read. It so deserves to have more recognition. May not be the most popular pairing, but my love for Fred and George outshines the rest. (Sorry blokes).

But seriously tho, how have you been, lately?
I'm not sure what caused you to stop writing, but I do hope you're fairing well these days despite whatever hardships and struggles that come your way... I truly pray you are alright. Whether you plan to get back on your stories or not will be entirely up to you. But I wish you would at least read the reviews we all left for youI loved reading "Afterwards". I love how you define feelings are so deep that mere words aren't enough and that labels aren't needed to establish relationships.
Guest chapter 18 . 1/31/2019
Ah, this story is so sad and sweet and lovely. I like to revisit it periodically because it is so touching and true. Since it will apparently never be finished, I like the idea of coming up with possible endings. Mine is that George has a dream where Fred leads him to a source that allows Hermione to safely bring back her mother’s memory. She gets a compassion dispensation to bring her mother into the wizarding world, and sets her up in a flat near Hermione. Hermione’s mom meets Molly and is so completely loving and embracing and grateful to Molly for taking care of Hermione despite Molly’s own loss, as well being happy about as the love her son has given Hermione, that Molly realizes how petty she’s being, and how she doesn’t want to lose another son. There’s no happy ever after, but there is a recognition that life is still worth living and loving and taking pleasure in.
Scorpia11 chapter 18 . 1/9/2019
I find it terribly sad when I stumble across a beautifully written story that is beyond well written and captivating in every way then abandoned. Praying it's nothing serious that's kept you from your story but I know you probably wont be back as it's been 8 years.
That being said for me I find this story ending where Harry profusely apologizes and finds that George and Hermione are meant for each other and Molly finally comes around after their first child is born but never gives up hope that they'll get married. Oh and due to the amount of activity they are having they find out they are pregnant just before Christmas and get marries five years later after their twins are born. Their business expands and Hermione and George live happily ever after with a wonderful business and four intelligent pranksters they call kids. Of course this is after managing their grief and finding their way out of the darkness...thanks for sharing
Guest chapter 18 . 2/18/2018
Despite being incomplete, this is quite possibly the best fan fiction I’ve ever read. Deeply real and moving, with an engaging story and authentic and appealing characters. (And damn scorching hot, too). I wonder if you’ve written yourself into a corner, not so much with the plot, exactly, but with the weight of tragedy the characters are bearing, I fear there might not be a way to get them out. But maybe you have something up your sleeve. While it would be amazing to find out, as I said, even incomplete, it’s still one of the best things I’ve read.

I've LOVED this story, even if I'm a little late getting to it. I'd love to see it be continued!
Buffybot76 chapter 18 . 12/19/2016
Hello! I don't know how to convey just how much I love this fic. It is so real in the fact that the grief process that George as well as Hermione are going through, it's... so immersive and I hurt right along with them and as they have healed I felt I've healed as well. I just wanted to say that this fic deserves to be finished and I am so sad to see it hasn't been updated in a few years. I hope it hasn't been abandoned because it deserves an ending (preferably a happy one) and I hope to get a story alert soon from you. I'm fixing to read A Sense of Belonging because Fred/Hermione is my true OTP but I'd briefly got distracted by George/Hermione for a couple days now. Just know that if this story is anything to go by I'm sure that it will be just as wonderful!

Amazing and fantastic. Incredibly moving.
Ellae chapter 16 . 8/22/2015
On my end I'm just amazed that these people can HAVE emotional discussions of their feelings, however badly they end up
Have we become a people who cannot articulate our feelings?
Ellae chapter 15 . 8/22/2015
Ugh I love George. Surprised and gratified by this nature accepting Ron
Ellae chapter 14 . 8/22/2015
*single tear* I wish I was half as adept or mature to deal with my problems such.
Ellae chapter 11 . 8/22/2015
Lmao I'm charmed by William. Who's next to surprised and be surprised by our starry couple?
Ellae chapter 10 . 8/21/2015
Bless Lee! Intrigued and interested in George's own introspection. Clearly you've defined how Hermione sees his seeming casualness about their relationship, but this insight and the way he presents the uncertainty of even marriage versus her need for labels are well done
