Oh Max, if just you knew Beetee was going in next year

One of the best Hunger Games stories I have ever read! Right up there with A Date With Katniss Everdeen and Life Through Sea Green Eyes. You really made this feel like it was something of its own, yet apart of the series too. However, I’m going to admit that I enjoyed Max’s story much more than the Hunger Games books, because I find myself remembering this story and wanting to reread it since I first read it which was years ago now. Thank you for the detailed work you put into this and sharing it! This is one of my top three Hunger Game fanfics. I think everyone who’s a fan of the movies and series should read this!

That last chapter when Beetee sees the message, so sad :'(

Wow, easily one of the best fanfics I've read in a long time. It's amazing how well you developed such a minor character, and even knowing how it would end for him didn't stop me from supporting his plight.

I love how with beetee's thoughts you brought in how he, and fox girl, and 11 giant, all rebelled in there own way. And even clove and Cato too.

I went back to this story to re-read the shower programming scene in this chapter and the matching part of the epilogue, and ended up re-reading the whole story instead, so thanks again for writing it.

I really love this story, especially the ending - you managed to connect everything and make it seem like an ending, even though Max died. The part where Max refused to kill Lysa, and the end when Max dies, those were my favorite parts. I'm going to take this story as canon, like A Fox's View and Love Is a Battlefield (I'll try those other stories you mentioned, they seem really good too!) :)

Hi There! Here through a recommendation by tv trophes. This fic is great! The unknown boy from district 3 - maxwell dyson - really comes alive in this. So does BeeTee! I also love the almost human touch you gave to Glimmer. And I especially like the end - that it is Maxwells ingenious feat that sparks somne of the rebellion, that it is his message from the grave that convinces Beetee to work along, making Maxwell's death not for nothing, in the end. Greatly done! Thank you for writing and sharing!

That second message.. Well done. I would love you forever if you did a oneshot that Beetee and Wiress actually saw it before the quarter quell. It would probably break my heart though.

Amazing story. I always thought the Landmine Boy was an interesting character, and this is the best story I have read focusing on him. I hope you decide to write that AU where he wins. It would be great to see how he handles victory, and what that would mean for the future of this world, as there would be no Girl on Fire to fuel the Second Rebellion.
