LynnEGib chapter 1 . 6/22/2012 Data on next Gen always feared this but giving his life to save earth eliminated him being the last. You expressed his pain so well as the crew left him. |
Annette-Rose chapter 1 . 3/10/2012 Wow...this was perfect. A bitterly painful yet wonderful conclusion for the Voyager family. Had a complete full circle feel of making the end like the beginning. And yet not. Can't explain myself! I think it was very fitting of the Doctor to do that, and I think you also managed to get his 'voice' right. This was the exact story I was looking for that didn't turn the Doc into an egotistical maniac like many others have. So thanks...despite the ache in my chest now :( |
Isumo 1489 chapter 1 . 2/11/2011 That was one of the single most moving things I think I've read in a long time. The Doc was/is/always will be one of if not my favorite character from Voyager, and truth be told, I think I can agree that he'd go through something like this. For a person faced with immortality, this I believe is the truth. I know for a fact I'm glad I'm' not, too many people I care about to survive their loss without snapping. The Doc, here, he was himself to the end, something not alot of people could ever say themselves. Honestly, I got tears right now, but this was excellent, and I hope more well written work is something I find soon. Thanks for writing this, it's been an honor reading it. Your Humble Servant, Isumo1489 Live Long and Prosper. |
Alton Cyphers chapter 1 . 1/9/2011 i applaud you for writing this wonderful story. you actually made me cry, which is a feat indeed. |
Vardonir chapter 1 . 11/24/2010 That was... Beautiful. *insert tears here* ~ LLAP, VZ |
chuckchuckchuck chapter 1 . 11/23/2010 WOW! a masterpiece as usual. But even more so this time. I cant tell you how great it was. I loved every last bit of the story. It was touching, funny, sad, heartwarming. I think that if everyone put themselves in the Doc's situation and watched everyone in their lives pass away...how could they not feel like he did in your story. Amazingly well written and i could feel all of it! you're an awesome writer and i cant wait to read more... this is going to be in my favorites for sure... ps...im also a bit jealous of you ! ha! youre such a great writer! |
badmelk chapter 1 . 11/23/2010 Wow that was a really moving story. I don't think I've seen anything like it. Loved the J/Cness you threw in there too. Great story :) |
TheJesser chapter 1 . 11/23/2010 First off, you like Counting Crows too? ) Second, I think I told once, back when I asked you about Ritual, that I love how your stories are so different. You get those writers that rewrite the same stories over and over again. But then there are those select few who can come up with a different idea and a different perspective. You're one of those select few. And I love it. This was so touching. So sad. So happy. It was a bowl of emotions all mixed together. I applaud you and your ability to do that. Great job! |
stampensue chapter 1 . 11/23/2010 That was the most heart-warming story I have read in a long time. What a great idea, what a great concept. Every one was depicted in such a nice way, just like they would have been. It was like reading the story about friends, people that we knew. That may sound silly, but I guess we all like the characters enough to write &/or read about them that they all must mean something to us all now don't they? Thanks again! |
ohmyhotch chapter 1 . 11/23/2010 This is great, it may be a little different than usual, yes, but that doesn't detract from how well written and strong this piece is. Wonderful job! |
E. Taylor chapter 1 . 11/23/2010 So depressing, and yet so amazing. This was really well written, and a different take on their lives after Voyager. Wonderful job! |
Nynaeve506 chapter 1 . 11/23/2010 Lovely |
ShannenSekaya chapter 1 . 11/23/2010 I am literally in tears after reading this, it was so beautiful. I love how you described the Doctor's feelings about everyone, loved how you explained what happened to the entire senior staff and described their deaths so beautifully. Absolutely stunning, thank you! |
sophiedoodle chapter 1 . 11/23/2010 Marauder, you know I simply loved this piece. It's one of the most profound, touching, and truly real stories I've ever read in the realm of fanfic. Your portrayal of the Doctor'e emotional growth, his pain, his insights are stunning. This is truly a masterpiece... |
secretcastle chapter 1 . 11/23/2010 Absolutely marvelous! It's probably one of your best stories. It's touching the way the Doctor decided to die after Vorik passed on. And it's wonderful that we get to hear each of the Voyager grew bow out gracefully and how those that left behind slowly came to terms to each death before passing on as well. Thank you for writing this. |
