I love this story. Normally the people only write about the school and not about what follows. So great idea to fill this gap. Your characters are also believeable and very well made. I am a little surprised to see that Al has managed to get his body back on his own. I look forward to the 'talk'.
By the way Ed's Animagus-form is great. How did Professor McGonnagal manage to take such a tiny form

You should've made him either a raccoon or a red panda. They are so SMALL but you do not want to tick off a red panda... THEY ARE BI-POLAR. and go from being sweet and cuddly to ripping your face off in seconds.
