I really enjoyed this story. It captured very well the relationship between Shinigami-sama and Death the Kid. As well as both of their struggles with Kid's, well, compulsions.

I understand Kid very well. Not as much the actual Symmetry thing itself, of course. I mean, who doesn't love some good symmetry anyway though? But I do have what's called Bipolar-OCD. It comes and goes, not just as randomly needing to clean things, but, for example, sometimes not giving a shit if the whole house is a mess for weeks on end, and then my while personality seems to change and I'll clean for DAYS. But it's not Multiple Personality Disorder because I don't have multiple names for the "me(s?)" and I don't have memory blanks. Why am I telling you all this, just trust me, it's weird, Kid's so lucky to have a caring dad to actually want to help him and stuff...

Anyway, I really enjoyed this story. You should write more! One thing though: It really really really bothered me that you randomly stopped using the roman numerals... But I guess that's not really a big deal... Usually... It's not...

Anyway, yes, I liked it. Good job.
