Windy Darlington chapter 2 . 5/30/2016 Yep, fully enjoyed them! They were good! And I grinned when I noticed my name, not to sound too self-centered :) I like these a LOT, WH |
Windy Darlington chapter 1 . 5/6/2016 Hello. . . I really liked a lot of these! 45, 46 and 37. You write one sentence, but they're vivid and give me dashes of color and smells; I simply loved many of them! :) But, since there's only one chapter, I'm gonna have to reply to everything in one review; sorry if it makes this a long one! *shrugs sheepishly* I must say, highly critical people do not any friends make. Just a point in passing: I have been taught, all my life, that bluntness and harsh truth do not work in the real world. Can you be critical AND kind? I mean, honestly, you seem to enjoy creating as much AU as the next person. "Evelyn" and "Justin"? And, I also call it the First Song; not to be a bugger, but I think practically everyone does. It's just one of those things. And everyone who is anyone knows that automobiles came to Britain in the early nineteen hundreds. You'd have to be blind not to notice the autos in all historical WW2 (or pre WW2) films. Stained glass windows would be very nice; clearly, you haven't done proper research and don't know that stained glass was seen as early as the seventh century in Britain. Glass roofs are also quite possible, though it's more likely that it was not a roof and just lots of high clerestories with a large roof lantern. You can always do that; they were called at the time "glass roofs" since they seemed to be mostly glass. Yes, Michael could be a random friend of Peter's; so could a Douglas, a Stephen, a Joe, a Danny, a Fred, and a Will or Bill. You don't have to put up excuses; no one cares how many OCs you make because this is FANfiction. It has FAN in it for a reason: so you can make up. I honestly don't care what you say. FFN was not made so that people can stay as like the books as possible or so that they can continue the world C.S. Lewis clearly ended in The Last Battle. FFN is for alternate realities, OCs, imaginings, and whatever else people want to create; it's for your mind to run wild (but not stupidly. No unbelievably magic girls and painfully beautiful guys with mysterious tragic backgrounds). Miraz was NOT crowned when Caspian was barely a toddler. He was a Regent (ACTING king, in other words); please, before you say all that, do your research. A relative or parent (usually the mother since the father's dead or something) is crowned regent until the heir comes of age. Yeah, yeah, Miraz was king, but not officially. He can say "King Miraz" all he wants and shout it as loud as he wants, but he's only King Regent, Lord Protector of Narnia. Caspian is the Heir Apparent; he will be crowned king of Narnia and nothing Miraz can do (besides have him murdered or if Caspian was to become a traitor) can make him actually king. Lewis knew all this, but why bother children with the nitty gritty? Why do you have to care about what other authors do in regards to the ages and everything? I mean, you don't seem to see it, but that's really harsh. "Take that"? Must you be so judgmental and opinionated? It's just not fair to everyone. It's like I was telling some kids the other day when we were watching some motorcyclists go by and one of my little guys said "there should be a law banning those dangerous things." You can't ban everyone in the world from doing something just because you don't like it. There's such a thing as free will in this world, and sooner or later, everyone has to be allowed to make their own choices and have their own opinions on something. And yes, I got a LOT of enjoyment form them! :) I can't wait to go read more of your stuff! Another yes, because I was thinking about Gwendolyn just yesterday (finished rereading PC)! WH |
Countess of Western March chapter 1 . 10/11/2011 yes, I do agree with the guidelines. But next time, i suggest trying to avoid dry humour. It paints you as being insensitive. |
kelseyelizabethxo chapter 1 . 9/23/2011 Don't like it. Aren't you above reviews? |
Lily's Muse chapter 50 . 8/29/2011 I know it's unfair for me to expect you to read all my stories when I don't read most of yours...I just don't understand ANYTHING. I mean, you've read Twilight, you know Toby, and you know who Muse are. But I haven't read Coraline or Narnia. It doesn't make any sense to me yet. But I HAVE purchased Coraline, and as soon as I finish The 12th Planet, I'm going to read it. :) |
Shizuku Tsukishima749 chapter 48 . 8/26/2011 lol. Indeed! I'm actually curious to know if anyone ever decided to attack that way, directly the roof... XP Rock on! Can't wait for more! XD Lucy WOULD ponder something like this! *U* Rock on! |
Shizuku Tsukishima749 chapter 46 . 8/26/2011 AW! This is so cute! Absolutely love it! *U* Rock on! |
lost-in-elysium chapter 45 . 8/26/2011 True, true. They were just kids who wanted to have a good time. I can understand. But I would have been mad if someone got in a mud fight after taking a bath. It sounds kind of weird for an eighteen year old woman to play in the mud with a twelve year old girl. Susan needs to let up and join in too! She's so uptight about everything. |
lost-in-elysium chapter 44 . 8/26/2011 That is odd, living in an alternate universe almost as long as you did in the real world. I needed to refer to the timeline because the math wasn't coming out right in my head. I was thinking that the Last Battle took place in 1947 but then realized it took place in 1949. |
lost-in-elysium chapter 43 . 8/26/2011 Haha! Very lighthearted. When I get tickled, I laugh so hard that my head hurts. I eventually end up begging for mercy! |
lost-in-elysium chapter 42 . 8/26/2011 Peter's just being a good brother. I wonder if Lucy ever saw her next-door friends again... |
lost-in-elysium chapter 41 . 8/26/2011 Wouldn't it be impossible to find someone if you're playing hide-and-seek in Cair Paravel? I mean it's huge, so it would take you a very long time and I bet there were all kinds of secret passages there. |
lost-in-elysium chapter 40 . 8/26/2011 This is new. I never read much about Digory in this story, so this chapter was a surprise to me. So I'm guessing he feels sorry for hitting that Bell with the Hammer and waking up Jadis. Now I wonder what would have happened if he didn't do that. My prediction that there wouldn't be any trouble, really. Jadis would never come back? But she's practically immortal, isn't she since eating that apple? I think that the White Witch could get killed, but would come back eventually. But Aslan did maul her to death, so that might be a different story. |
lost-in-elysium chapter 39 . 8/26/2011 Very nice. This one sentence tells us a lot: that even though Lucy was a queen, she wasn't afraid to charge into battles with her brothers. I was just thinking about how Lucy didn't fight when the Pevensies were children in Narnia and how Susan did. It's like they switched roles as they got older. Kind of ironic, huh? |
lost-in-elysium chapter 38 . 8/26/2011 Now I'm starting to wonder... is Ailena immortal or something? Because I went back to the chapter called wrong just to make sure we were talking about the same people. Did she die and end up in Narnia? That's what I think happened since she seems to be about the same age even though all this time passed in Narnia. |
