And why is she grounded. Because Puck came over every night. Shows how much of a mom Judy really is. She didn't noticed. I don't think that Judy has a right to speak. They threw Quinn out and Quinn became independent. She can expect that Quinn after several month taking care for herself will obey the house rules Judy had before. Judy loses that right after abandoning Quinn. Judy proved that she would chose her husband over her own child.

So grounding is not a right she has to do.
