| anon chapter 1 . 5/10/2013 I haven't read fuffy stories for some years now. Reading this reminded me why I loved that ship so intensely for so long. Both of them complex and interesting characters (I belong to those who loved Buffy as much as Faith) and their relationship dymanics so addictive. So much potential. Every scene between them can be seen again and again. Great fucking chemistry between the actors. The first couple I shipped when I was still a kid was Xena/Gabrielle, but the one that got me into fandom and fanfiction and analysing the meta of character arcs and storylines were these two. Forever in my heart. This was excellent by the way. Faith's characterization felt spot on for her post-prison personality. Buffy falling for Faith in the beginning of their relationship rangs true also. For a little while these two kids understood each other perfectly. The only two people in the world to be truly equals. And then everything went to shit. So thanks for rectifying the canon with this story. |
